NATA 2025 Overview

Candidates can attempt a maximum of three sessions of NATA 2025. The exam authorities will consider the best of the three scores for the NATA 2025 result evaluation. Qualifying in NATA 2025 is mandatory for admission to the BArch degree offered by various colleges across India. Candidates will have the choice of appearing in one or all exams. NATA 2025 Application Form

 

To complete the NATA 2025 Application Form, follow these steps:

  • Registration: Go to the official website and find the "New Registration" button. Click it.
  • Provide Information: Fill in your name, email ID, phone number, and date of birth, then hit submit. Check your email for a confirmation link.
  • Create Password: Select a password, choose a security question and answer, enter the captcha, and click "Login".
  • Fill the Form: Enter your personal, academic, and communication details, and choose three exam centers.
  • Upload Documents: Upload your photo and signature as per the given specifications.
  • Payment: Pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card or net banking.

How to Fill NATA 2025 Application Form:

  • Step 1: Visit the NATA website (a link will be provided).
  • Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "NATA 2025 Registration" link.
  • Step 3: Click on the "New Registration" link to establish your account.
  • Step 4: Provide the requested details in the form and submit it.
  • Step 5: Log in using your details and complete the application form with the necessary information.
  • Step 6: Upload the required scanned documents in the specified format.
  • Step 7: Submit the prescribed application fee amount through online mode.
  • Step 8: Review the filled-in details and submit the application form.
  • Step 9: Generate a hardcopy of the application form for future reference.

 

NATA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) to avoid disqualification:

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Finish 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Alternatively, complete a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a required subject.

Relaxations:

  • SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), or PWD candidates get a 5% relaxation in their total marks and PCM subjects for 10+2 or 10+3 Diploma.
 

NATA 2025 Exam Pattern

The updated NATA exam has two sections. In Part A, there are new 3D modeling questions to improve practical skills and better match industry needs.

The exam is worth 200 marks and lasts for 3 hours. Check out the marking scheme for each section of NATA 2025 below.

NATA 2025 Syllabus

The Council of Architecture (CoA) will release the NATA 2025 syllabus on its official website. This will help candidates find the necessary courses, topics, and units for exam preparation.

Knowing the syllabus in advance helps candidates understand important concepts and get ready for the test. The syllabus has been the same over the years, set by the exam authorities.

The NATA exam syllabus includes two main parts:

  • Drawing Test
  • General Aptitude
  • Mathematics

Subject Topics
Mathematics Logarithms, Algebra, Matrices, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, 3-Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry, Application of Calculus, Theory of Calculus, Statistics, Permutation and combination and Probability.
Drawing Test Geometric composition, understanding scale and proportion of objects, shape, building forms and elements, color texture, aesthetics, harmony, and control. Drawing of patterns – both geometrical and abstract. Conceptualization and visualization through structuring objects in memory. Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, subtraction, rotation, surfaces, and volumes. Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shapes and forms. Perspective drawing, Sketching of urban scape and landscape. Generating plan, elevation, and 3D views of objects. Common day-to-day life objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.
General Aptitude Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawing, Interpretation of pictorial compositions. Objects, textures related to architecture & built environment. Analytical reasoning, general awareness of national/international architects and famous architectural creations, mental ability (visual, numerical, and verbal) etc.
